i--love--running asked: What are your PRs?
Nothing spectacular, but my PRs from last year are
100m Hurdles- 18.3
300m Hurdles- 52.8
Long Jump - 14’4”
Triple Jump 29’6.5”
I only starting jumping halfway through last season, and my hurdling has been improving a lot since then, so hopefully these will be changing soon! We’ll see once my season starts in a few weeks :)
(also, sorry about the fact that I’ve been neglecting this so much the past few months. I’ll start posting some more stuff when I can. but if you see or do anything cool, feel free to submit!)
I fucking love this picture, 800m final, Nick Symmonds.
[the first time I looked at this, i almost missed the guy about to hit the ground on the right]

Photo Final. I haven’t finished editing yet, but this is what I have so far.
this is cool.
Long before the likes of Donovan Bailey, Ben Johnson and Harry Jerome were setting new sprint records for Canada there was Percy Williams. A double gold medalist (100m and 200m) at the 1928 Olympics in Amsterdam he later set a world record (10.3 seconds) in 1930. After an injury in 1932, he dropped out of running altogether at the age of 24. On this day in 1982, suffering from a lifetime of arthritic pain he took his own life. What a tragic end to one of Canada’s great Olympians.
